Introduction: In this course, in class you will read quite a few English poems which will be used to introduce elements commonly seen in poetry. After class, you will practice expressing yourself in poetic language on Instagram and recommend poems at your free choice. The learning outcome will be presented in the form of a 12-minute presentation.

 

Objectives:

1.      Define elements of poetry;

2.      Write about poetry;

3.      Use poetic language to release feelings and record scenarios in life on Instagram;

4.      Present learning from this course within 12 minutes with PPT.

 

Evaluation:

Assignments: 36%

Midterm: 20%

Presentation: 20%

Poster Poem Contest: 10%

Participation in class: 5%

Participation in FB club: 5%

Self- and Peer-evaluation: 4%
